| PREPARATION: Cook sausage in a large   saucepan over medium-high heat until no longer pink, 5 to 7 minutes. Drain   fat and add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil reduce heat to a   simmer.  Cook until beans are tender, about 15 minutes, season with salt   and pepper to taste. Serve with grated Parmesan. | ||||||
